The product space and evolution of international competitiveness—evidence from China’s strategic and critical mineral articles

Clarifying the evolution of international competitiveness for strategic and critical mineral articles is great significance promoting new energy development achieving carbon neutrality in China. This study, therefore, calculates series indicators based on product space theory, instance, import & export shares, revealed comparative advantage (RCA) density, to analyze evolution. Results show that: China’s demonstrated a declining tendency, rising percentage imports was much larger than decreasing percentage. The 11 minerals different. Among them, two very strong, that four relatively weak, three products trend.
